West Gate Introductory student training level 1 This area of the forum is for focused discussion, sharing and will offer introductory training materials and lessons such as body warming practices, introductory form choreography instructional video lessons method and theory articles and more. Members can read and post. This area accessible by Qishi level students and above and will include many resources for those wanting to get on the training path. The West Gate of Tiantan park in Beijing was for many years the location of Chenyu Laoshi’s public classes. Several different packed clay and stone surfaced areas were used for group training. These classes were usually on weekends and included local part time students as well as visitors from other areas of China as well as international origins. This is where people may come to get an introduction to the art, style and practice in a group setting.
