Recommended Youtube Channels? (For this lineage,I mean)

Marin has his own Youtube Channel of course, but are there any other youtube channels you guys would recommend to get a peek at how authentic training (If there is publicly available Sanshou sparring footage available, that would be especially great!) is done in Chen Zhaokui Taijiquan?

What prompted me to ask this question is youtube suddenly recommending me this video and channel:

As I am a complete newbie not just to the study of this art,but also to Traditional Martial Arts training in general,I am unable to judge the validity of certain forms training, but would you guys say this youtube channel (at least based on the video shown if you don't wish to check out the other videos on the channel) is a good source for this lineage? If there are others, please do let me know.

I doubt most people here are going to suggest some other channel that claims to represent this style as a similar or comparable option. Videos of Chenyu or others in this line are always interesting but a Channel is mananged by an individual or group, usually with an agenda or something to promote with such videos. You cannot just take a channel with Chenyu/Chen Zhaokui line videos interspersed with a bunch of a presenter's videos and then take them all as authentic just because of their claims, association, or even their actual lineage. If you have a low (casual) standard of course that will be fine but if it's higher you really need to be discerning and look beyond the presentation and the claims and learn how to understand what is what. This is not an easy task.

I am making no specific point relating to any particular channel or purveyor, but just saying everyone training here is here for a specific reason. If it was all universal and easy to access they would not be here. Others will look elsewhere for different reasons.

Sometimes, certain videos can be nice reference points. But I would say, that in my limited experience, actually practicing this method is what creates "authenticity."
You get to build it in your own body: hopefully, through as-corrrect-as-possible, diligent practice of the prescribed methods.

What I can say for certain is that I have noticed a great overall feeling of very noticeable wellness, for lack of a better word, since beginning in our line in April 2020.

Don't worry,I know that none of this can be learned via watching random youtube videos. I asked mainly to get a peek. Fortunately,Marin has his own channel to peruse. :)

I'm interpreting your comment in that you're saying that there is a slight difference in proper form for everybody, because we all have bodies that are built a little differently from one another. Its kinda similar to how this author describes how proper weight lifting form is going to be slightly different for everybody:

https://www.aworkoutroutine.com/proper-form/ (He talks about it in his very first point)

I unfortunately don't have the article at hand (I don't even know if said article exists anymore, but if I find it,I'll be sure to link it here),but a Karate instructor who I believe is a very good source also described how in Kata training, you are not aiming to try to look exactly the same as the other people practicing, because due to the way we are built, the execution of the form is going to have some deviances from one another. There are of course fundamentals that must be adhered to (i.e. Cat arching of the back is always a no-no when Deadlifting,etc.).

May I ask if my interpretation of your message is correct? I could be completely off,but this was how I interpreted what you said about how "Actually practicing the method for yourself is what produces authenticity".

Awesome to hear that your training has been going great for you,BTW. :)

More succinctly, Marin has laid out a map for us to practice and onboard the methods to train gongfu in this line very well.
My, limited experience, is that if one actually puts in the regular physical practice, one will likely see results.
Of purse there are issues of individual skill, talent, and perseverance. All that aside, I’d say it is the very practice of adhering to the principles and requirements of the practice as laid out that one wants to work.

For some, I imagine training makes them feel like this at the end of the day:

My personal experience thus far is that I dread training in the before and during (especially when coach is putting me through hard conditioning) processes, but bathing in the afterglow (maybe not the best phrasing, but whatever!) of accomplishment when its done. Although sometimes I'll be sore and won't have abundant energy for the rest of the day,but I still feel fulfilled.

But maybe this art will be a completely different experience from the combat sports I've been training. I'll just have to wait and see I guess.

Is it just me or is this guy's knees moving around a lot?
